Being the hunter for the truth that I am, I searched for it on google (thank god again lol) and low and behold, there it was. I can't even begin to understand the madness that I'm witnessing. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this because it is both outrageously hilarious and hopelessly sad. I didn't know this type of desperation existed. I don't mean to offend anyone but, seriously?!
First of, this new religion is call Beyism. They have a website (along with every social media outlet a deity would need). The first thing you see is in the top left corner is a paper-clipped picture of Beyonce. Well, what you think is Beyonce at first but soon realize is a photo shopped picture of her head on what used to be Jesus. And that's just the beginning. They have religious quotes that are from, none other than, her song lyrics. They pass out their version of the Bible called Beyble Oh, but that's not all. In place of amen, they say surfbort. SURFBORT!..
HOW CREEPY IS THIS?!
This is truly a tragedy for the human race. I seriously had to ask myself some hard hitting questions... I mean cinder block kind of questions.
Does Beyonce know about this craziness?!
If so, is she ok with it?!
If so, Why?!
Who... no no no... I don't care who, how could someone think Beyonce should be worshiped?
Did it start out as some kind of joke and then some poor unfortunate soul (little mermaid) caught wind of it and was like, "Hmm, yeah that makes sense."?
In all seriousness, I'm an open person and extremely empathetic but no... just no. As members of the human race, can we please exercise our common sense and think about things first. Let's make a rule I think we can all agree on. If you are looking to a person for answers who is looking to someone or something else for answers, the math is not adding up. 13-50=47? (click the link if you didn't get it lol)
Im scared for a world where people are put on pedestals, being glorified and adored to the point where their lives become more valuable than those who adore them. Example, Rihanna's legs are insured for 1 million dollars. America Ferrera, yeah Ugly Betty, her smile is insured for 10 million. I don't know if its her teeth, her jaw, or the skin on her face but whatever is insured on her, I never imagined a human body part could be worth so much, when not on the black market of course. With that in mind, don't you think society's view on celebrities is a bit overstated.
Example, another term people use for a celebrity is an idol, right? The first definition for "idol" is and I quote: an image or representation of a god used as an object of worship.
To be honest, after examining this, Beyism isn't that far out there. If were treating these people (just like us) like deities than pretty soon there will be people who look at them as deities. I'm no conspiracy theorist or anything but I'm not naive to the fact that there is loads of subliminal messaging going on in the media. Crazy thing is a subliminal message's power is in it's privacy, being aware of it takes away that power. Point being... Pay attention people, pay attention.
Think about it...
